The setup went fast. A lot of people were around to help, and thanks to everyone, we were pretty much ready to go at 11:30. The show didn’t start until 12:00PM. We were in a room in the back of the building, it was approx. 16×20, so we chose a u-shape for the layout. The children helped a lot by walking on top of the tables, we had multiple Godzilla’s that day. We did touch ups until the show started. Although the center where we displayed at was small, we had a lot of traffic.
The show was very warm, so most members decided to stay in the hallway, and alternate coming in and out. We went to lunch at Bates, a small hamburger joint on the opposite side of the street. Everyone said it took years out of your life, but it seemed to me like any other burger joint. Pretty good food, chili dogs were yummy.
Teardown lasted about an hour, so it went fast, we distributed some club material for the next show on the 27th of December, and went to the usual place, Big Boys, for dinner. It was a great time, the display looked great, and we all had fun. We also met a lot of great people and saw some cool layouts.
