Great American Train Show – Novi, MI 2005/03/05MichLTC had the opportunity to display again at the Great American Train Show in Novi, MI. It was a lot of fun and a great layout. Steve Ringe had a dropped section with moving cars and an animated playground.
COSI Toledo Museum – Toledo, OH 2005/02/20This was MichLUG’s second event with COSI, a children’s museum in Toledo, Oh. We had the pleasure to work with COLTC again, which is always a blast. We also had an excellent spot this year, right through the main entrance.
Toy & Hobby Expo 2004 – Novi, MI 2004/12/05It is primarily a toy and doll show, dealer focused, but has a significant MR dealer presence. In addition to our layout there was a large O “hirail” layout there (loosely based on a New York Central (NYC) prototype and an operating (2 foot gauge?) kiddie train.
Southeastern Michigan Model Train Show – Saline, MI 2004/11/28This is our second year at the Southeastern Michigan Model Train show. It was held at the old Saline fairgrounds. The event was held in three separate buildings, two for dealers and one just for layouts. Along with our layout there were two HO scale layouts.
20th Annual Festival of Trees – Dearborn, MI 2004/11/28This was MichLUG’s second year with Festival of Trees, an annual fundraiser for the Evergreen Endowment of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
