Agenda:
The meeting started with a number of people looking through a tub of Lego that Jason found at a flea market. Chris brought some new buildings he was working on, and a few of the members went over the proposed layout
for the next show. Then we got down to the business portion of the meeting.
For the show on October 27th, we will be able to start setting up around 6:00pm and will have to clear out a few hours later (2-3hrs). In the morning we will be able to pick up where we left off, about 6:00am. The show will start at 10:00am. Club members are encouraged to where their MichLTC shirts. Right now we are expecting about 11 people to be contributing on this show.
We are planning to attend a show in late November, which Chris is finalizing some details on. At this time, at least 12 people have said they will be able to make. Since this is another one day show, we are looking at a 15'x15' layout, which will require 16 of our large tables.
A number of members still want to have a table building party, so we can meet the required number of tables for our larger shows, ie GATS. The date, place, and orgainzer of this events are still being discussed.
After we concluded the business meeting, 5 of the club members had another draft. This is the third meeting in a row that we have had a draft, and most everyone has a lot of fun. This month we drafted 6 copies of 4707 Hagrid’s Hut which Target had on sale recently.
The meeting wrapped up around 5:00pm, and we went our separate ways. We neglected to go anywhere for dinner as a group, which Stefan was slightly distressed at. This after meeting dinner had almost become a tradition, but too many members had other needs to attend to.
