Briefing:
This meeting marked our 3 year anniversry. We meet at the DeWitt Public Library, as our previous location had to cancel on us. "Purple" Dave Laswell meet all the requirements for membership and was welcomed into the club as a member. The meeting started off with Larry and Nik showing some of the neat parts they picked up at the LEGO World Convention in Europe. Then Lester setup a large building he is working on and told us what changes his is still planning and how he designed certain features. Jason Spears picked up some Ewok Attacks on sale and a few members decided to draft these sets. Before the draft was complete, Peter Guenther showed up and so we got to the business portion of the meeting. We discussed a number of up-coming shows. Also nominations were opened for the 2004 election of club officers. After we finished the business portion the draft was finished up pretty quickly. The meeting didn't last much longer as the library was closing at 4:00. As everyone was packing up a crowd formed around Jason's trunk as he sold off a few other sets that he had picked up on discount, but no longer needed. Everyone headed over to a local sports bar after the meeting for dinner.
