Briefing:
This was not only one of our most well attended meetings, with 14 members and 1 guest, but also one of our busiest. Many of our members brought lots of neat creations. Around one o'clock, after talking about techniques used in various creation and wondering how Chris finds all that dark red, we started the business portion of the meeting. We talked about our upcoming events: Festival of Trees, Toy and Hobby Expo, a possible event at COSI Museum in Toledo, GATS in March, etc. We also opened up nominations for the 2005 club officers. After we finished up the business portion we launched into drafting sixteen copies of 4562. Since this set has so many different pieces and is half random at that, we decide to mix up our normal procedure and only half sorted before we started. In between each person's picks, we found our selves finishing the sorting. It seemed to work out pretty well, although at the end of the draft we were still finding one or two of pieces that had thought to have been cleared out early on.
It was a really fun meeting, if hectic and hopefully the January meeting will be just as well attended and even more fun.
