Briefing:

By Ken K. also with notes from Rick Hallman

The meeting was at a new location in Saline. Thank you Lester, for providing the use of your home.

We had a return guest, Peter Alway, from Ann Arbor. He brought his dulcimer again and played it once more. I can't recall if he demonstrated this last time, but he showed how it was easy to reconfigure and get a more middle-eastern sound. He also brought a Microfig museum type structure. He commented that he first built the tower and decided it needed something more. Upon adding the wings, it looked like a museum to him. So, a museum it is.

New guests at this meeting were Greg Gallop from Rochester Hills area and Craig Scott from East Lansing. I believe both have fairly recently emerged from their dark ages, and have not yet been obsessed with Bricklink fever. (Editor's note - Greg talked to some of us at the GATS show in March and Craig just moved to Michigan a few days before the meeting.) We counseled that they should be patient, it *will* happen.

MOCs from members were a little light. P.D. brought a Batwing and Batmobile and Jason brought a dark orange and brown building he cranked out the night before the meeting. Rick had an asteroid for the Great Asteroid MOC Contest. He also had a bot modeled after the War of the Worlds robots.

Chris brought the club trailer to the meeting and we were able to see the logo that a neighbor of his put on. Looks pretty good.

The meeting closed around 4:30. There was no identified eatery located conveniently for enough people so everyone went their own way.
