Meeting Business
As of this meeting, MichLUG has 6 events coming up in the next two months and will have some
income coming in for some of these shows. We went through the list of shows and got a quick
head-count on who was planning to help out with which. In addition, we have at least five shows
on deck for 2009; it promises to be a very full year.
Chris is going to make some corner posts for our stanchions; these will use 2x3 buckets for the
base and include more cement so they're not pulled in like the smaller ones.
Someone noted that the Canton Observer had a good mention of our Lego display at Liberty Fest,
and the question was raised about scanning that for our website or linking to it online.
Chris raised the idea again of adding an actual calendar to our events page; Jim said they had
one on his work website and would work on it.
Nominations for 2009 officers were opened; they will remain open on the Yahoo! group and at the
next meeting until each office is voted on. The current slate of officers was
re-nominated--Peter for President, Jim for VP, Chris for treasurer, and Steve for secretary.
