Just a guy who likes to build with LEGO bricks.
I joined MichLUG in early 2010, after learning about it from a convention I went to called BRICKWORLD CHICAGO. The club was VERY active that year, and I jumped in right away, getting us involved in Midland Center for the Arts LEGO display with Nathan Sawaya.
Since 2011, I have been president of MichLUG, and have taken the lead, and participated in many amazing collaborations with fellow club members. My focus has been on architecture. This focus has grown significantly, with over 30 historical buildings currently built (mostly in the Tri-city area, but also from Detroit, and other locations). Many of them still exist as a modified version of the original concept.
For 4 years running, I have provided the content for ‘Inspired by bricks’ events at the Castle Museum in Saginaw MI.
I didn’t start building with LEGO until I was an adult in the late 1980’s and joined MichLUG in early 2008.
